About Me

Transforming Operations. Elevating Strategy.

I help organizations unlock operational excellence, strengthen supply chain performance, and scale with confidence by turning complexity into clarity.

With more than 18 years of leadership experience at Target, I’ve worked across large-scale operations, capacity planning, network optimization, and continuous improvement—supporting some of the most complex distribution and fulfillment networks in the country. Throughout my career, my focus has been consistent: helping leaders understand what’s really happening in their operations and translating that insight into practical, executable solutions.

As the founder of Casey Strategy & Operations Consulting, I partner with organizations to assess and redesign operations, improve throughput, and strengthen the decision-making systems leaders rely on to run the business. My approach blends strategic thinking with hands-on operational experience—ensuring solutions are not only well designed, but sustainable and grounded in real-world execution.

I’m known for quickly diagnosing organizational challenges and helping teams focus on what matters most. Whether improving network performance, embedding continuous improvement capabilities, leading capacity planning transformations, or coaching leadership teams through change, I bring discipline, clarity, and momentum to every engagement.

Experience & Perspective

Before launching my consulting practice, I held senior leadership roles across operations and supply chain at Target, where I led both enterprise-wide initiatives and site-level transformations.

Highlights include:

  • Leading capacity planning and throughput improvement initiatives across a national network of 35+ regional distribution and fulfillment centers supporting billions in annual sales

  • Transforming a 2 million square foot Northeast distribution center—improving safety, quality, productivity, and engagement while elevating network performance

  • Designing and deploying enterprise continuous improvement tools, metrics, and leadership routines that delivered sustained year-over-year productivity gains

  • Partnering cross-functionally to build operating models, capacity tools, and decision-support systems used by senior leaders to manage constraints and improve execution accuracy

This experience shapes how I work today: focused on clarity, disciplined execution, and building systems leaders can rely on—not one-time fixes.

How I Work

I believe effective operational improvement starts with understanding reality, not assumptions. I work closely with leaders and teams to identify root causes, prioritize opportunities, and design solutions that fit their organization’s context.

My role often blends advisor, operator, and coach—helping organizations move from diagnosis to execution while building internal capability along the way.

Background

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Clarkson University. I’m passionate about operational excellence, continuous improvement, and developing leaders who can sustain results long after an engagement ends.

Outside of my consulting work, I enjoy supporting local youth sports, mentoring emerging leaders, and spending time with my family in New York’s Capital Region.

If you’d like to learn more about how I work or explore whether we’re a fit, I’d welcome the conversation.
